Erin loved learning to read and couldn't get enough books to read at home, so decided she'd built up her own secret library taking home a book a day for a week or two. The teacher couldn't work out where a good supply of the class's books had gone. It became rather a serious problem and Erin's teacher went around the other classrooms to ask if anyone could help solve the problem. "Oh yes," said the usually very quiet James, "my sister's got them all hidden at home!". Poor Erin lost her new books the very same day, but we all remember that she got a book for her birthday and a book for Christmas that particular year!
Marie: And yet another story!
It seems to be a trait of the elderly to tell stories and often repeat the same stories. As our family has a major Reunion in February 2015 I will tell a family story each day and NOT repeat it for 100 days. I will use christian names from our earlier generations as pseudonyms.
